この前、お客さんの犬が病気で輸血が必要ということなので、愛犬のルークの血が合うか検査をして輸血をしました。僕も献血は良くするので抵抗はないし、助け合いは必要ですよね！
愛犬が怪我をした、病気になった時など急に輸血が必要な時があると思います。
万が一、なってから輸血できる20キロ以上の犬を探すのは大変ですし、急だとなかなかいません。 なので、事前に輸血していただける20キロ以上の犬を飼っている人たちの輪を広げて、仲良くなっておく事も大事だと思います。 また、かかりつけの動物病院にも対応できるのか確認しておくのも必要かもしれません。
また、輸血にはすべての犬がすぐに輸血をできるわけではなく、 輸血をする前に動物病院で検査をして適合するかをチェックしなければいけません。 また、一回血を取ったら1か月近くは開けて獣医さんとしっかり相談しながら行ってください。
